Vietnam exports cashew world leader for 8 years in a row


Vietnam exported 257,000 tonnes of cashew nuts in 2013, an increase of 15.8% compared to the same period last year, this is the 8th consecutive year head nut exporter of the world.
In 2013, Vietnam collecting nuts sold 1.63 billion dollars into the foreign market, up 9.7% compared to the same period last year, according to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. Along with the export of products from cashew nut shell oil, cashew exports from Vietnam in 2013 reached US $ 2 billion

According to the Ministry, the market of Vietnam Cashew including the US, China and the Netherlands, accounting for 33.09, 17.72 and 9.66% respectively of the total exports of cashew nuts. Cashew export achievements of Vietnam in 2013 is due to the great efforts of the company processing and exporting Vietnam, amid gloomy world economy and reduce the purchasing power on the world market .


Vietnam Cashew Association said that in 2014, the association aims to maintain export volumes and prices of grain exports products to increase sales of about $ 2 billion into the world market.
